A photographic journey of the Dominican Republic by David "Dro" Rosario First off, thanks for even getting to this page because it shows you have interest in what I do as a photographer and/or as a person. I was fortunate enough to go to the Dominican Republic with my father for the 2006 new year turnover. Many people that know me can say that I do not look nor act one bit 'Dominican." Yet, my parents were born there and so were a long list of ancestors that stem back to about the 1700's. It was my first time on the island and it was a life changing experience. Twenty two years of living on this earth and now is when I get the enlightenment of my true heritage. Anywho, over the course of ten days I witnessed events, visited turfs and learned history that I could never dream of seeing, feeling or hearing in the great ole US of A. Through my photography you can get an idea of some of the things that I saw. Some of the photographs that I took remain in my private collection, but here are the ones that show the parts of my trip that I don't mind letting you step into. So feel free to critique away and send any emails to miamihiphop@gmail.com regarding comments about these pictures. And if you would like prints of any of these photographs, please email me at that same address for more information. On one last note, keep in mind that these pictures were somewhat reduced in quality to protect my copyrights. So..thank you for your interest in my photography. God bless. - David "Dro" Rosario
