Love of my life Katy Perry. Click on photo to enlarge…

I’ll ryde and dye for this white gurl. Either way, Ms. Perry catches up with Billboard magazine for an exclusive cover story in preparation of her album Teenage Dream releasing next month….
On staying true to herself:
“I’m not coming out trying to prove anything to anyone, like, ‘Oh, I’m in assless chaps!’ or ‘I can’t be tamed!’ I’ve already been through that phase. I started at 23, you know?”On her Twitter message after the premiere of Gaga’s “Alejandro” video:
“[Spirituality] is just important to me. The details of the importance are still to be determined, I guess . . . It’s one of those things that as the older you get and the farther you try to run away from your parents, you just turn right around and they are embedded into your DNA.”On “California Gurls”:
“I’m not saying, ‘Oh, my God! “California Gurls” is a fucking genius opus!’ I just know what kind of card this summer needs, and that’s the one I’m playing.”On her inspiration for the song “Firework”:
“Basically I have this very morbid idea . . . when I pass, I want to be put into a firework and shot across the sky over the Santa Barbara Ocean as my last hurrah. I want to be a firework, both living and dead. My boyfriend showed me a paragraph out of Jack Kerouac’s book ‘On the Road,’ about people that are buzzing and fizzing and full of life and never say a commonplace thing. They shoot across the sky like a firework and make people go, ‘Ahhh.’ I guess that making people go ‘ahhh’ is kind of like my motto.”On lending her voice to Smurfette for an upcoming animated movie based on the classic cartoon slated for 2011:
“I am a walking cartoon most days so it was an obvious go-to. I would love to do more of that . . . to be a desk lamp in a Pixar movie or something stupid, like a fork! A spoon! A knife!”On her early struggles:
“I used to just feel numb. It was like taking a kid to Disneyland and then making them wait outside. The people just wouldn’t let me through the gates—what could I do?”On why she wanted “Teenage Dream” to have more tempo than “One of the Boys”:
“I really love going to shows where I’m sandwiched between people, and you don’t know if the sweat on you is yours or the person’s next to you. I love that feeling, and when I was on tour I would see that I was missing that a bit.”

Katy Perry’s album cover, for her upcoming album Teenage Dream. The cover is actually a painting created by New York City based artist Will Cotton, who also worked on Katy’s video for “California Gurls”. Katy mentioned, “the day I found Will Cotton, I knew I wanted to live in his cinematic cotton candy world. A fantastically art-directed music video and one piece of timeless album artwork later, I can proudly say I am more than a fan.”
Yeah…

Katy Perry in the new Esquire Magazine. Only if all women in the world could look like her and Kim Kardashian….i think all wars would end. Photos below….

I may have lost her to Russell Brand, but good lord she looks good in the photo above and the video below.

Katy Perry lands atop of Maxim’s Hot 100 list. And ya’ll said I was crazy for being obsessed with an average looking white girl. So eff ya’ll, I was right. The magazine says “the 25-year-old is the best friend you suddenly realize you’ve loved your whole life. The rad chick who taught you how to skateboard and whistle and also looks unbelievable in a bikini.”She’s like one of the boys, except with double D’s. Click below for the rest of the top 100…

Katy Perry season has returned. As some of you may know, I’m the president of her South Florida fan club (no homo, just joking). But yeah, here she links with Snoop Dogg for a very retro pop sounding record, which seems like it might be the direction of her new album that is due out in August. Either way, expect a lot more Katy Perry stuff in the coming months leading up to her album. Listen below.

Yep, this is the Katy Perry I fell in love with. I haven’t posted too many Katy Perry things recently, but um, she has a new album and a new single coming soon. So unfortunately, you’re going to see a couple Katy Perry shrine posts in the upcoming weeks. My apologies ahead of time.

If you’ve followed the blog, then you know that Katy Perry is the one that got away. The love of my life that left me for some British dude. Either way, here she is looking great in Glamour (Russia) and in Nylon magazine…
Katy Perry on her being nominated for a Grammy at last Wednesday’s ceremonies…
Sidenote: I want her to have my children. I honestly don’t know what she said in this clip, I just looked straight at her chest and pressed “embed”. I loveher.

Photos of my future wife workin’ what her mama gave her on the Red Carpet. Holla…

Working all weekend like a madman and I completely forgot about Katy Perry performing and chillin’ at the Fontainebleau this weekend. Dro fails….dro fails. Either way, I still have photos of her fine blankita self. Photos via CelebsHome. Click below…

Last month I took photos of Katy Perry passing by Miami for a quick T-Mobile performance. Well here’s more reasons while I’m obsessed with her chest the way she looks. My favorite white girl in the game. Check more photos of her at Shepherds Bush Empire in London. Courtesy of HCH

On May 7, 2009, Katy Perry and Wyclef gathered at Miami Beach’s Jackie Gleason Theater (aka The Fillmore) for a free Grammy Celebration Concert, presented by T-Mobile Sidekick. The venue was packed with people of all age groups that came from all over South Florida to check out two of the biggest stars in pop music and hip-hop respectively. As the crowd waited, they were able to kill time by texting random messages to a T-Mobile supplied number and then see their messages broadcasted live on the two huge LCD monitors above the stage.
Wyclef appeared first for the night and performed all of his classics. It was actually cool to Wyclef jump off the stage and interact/perform from inside the crowd for a number of songs. He also got it going with a couple guitar tricks on stage such as playing behind his head and actually playing with his teeth, a talent he says you better have strong teeth for. Katy Perry soon followed minutes after Wyclef and immediately began singing her hits in-sync with a crowd that seamlessly sang along with her word-for-word. At one point she calmed the crowd down and prepared them for her next song which she indicated was dedicated for a very special and dear ex-boyfriend. Travis is who everybody thought she was refering to, but the mood errupted in laughter when the song turned out to be ”Ur So Gay”.
Overall, it was a great series of performances by Katy and Wyclef – all in the name of the Grammy’s and T-Mobile Sidekick. View photos of the performances below…

This girl is the truth. If you have tickets to this sold out show, see her tonight at REVOLUTION LIVE! in Ft. Lauderdale. And no worries, if you miss her tonight, you can catch her next week at the T-Mobile Sidekick show on Miami Beach. More info on that coming later…

Less than 3 weeks till Katy Perry performs at Revolution Live! And you know I’ll be there…lol. Also, back in January I mentioned that I might be doing a ticket giveaway…well, unfortunately our ticket connect got a little stingy and long story short, it ain’t happening anymore. So sorry about that to all you Katy Perry fans that read The305.Com.

If you’re a newer reader of The305.Com, you might be wondering why I am posting stuff about Katy Perry. Well, you need to know that besides all this street shit and all this hip-hop shit I post…I occasionaly find a need to post a thing or two about Katy Perry, who I’m straight up obsessed with. I even gave her, her own category on the blog. There’s something about her that I’m addicted to and I’m not sure what it is. But point is, in the midst of all these Rick Ross posts and them sneakers posts….you’re gonna have to bare with a Katy Perry post from time-to-time. As well as an occassional Alicia Keys, Esther Baxter and Kim Kardashian post. Deal with it…lol.
With that said, here’s her singing “I Kissed A Girl” live on the Ellen Degeneres show. And sidenote for those that are interested, she’s in town performing in about a month at Revolution! in Ft. Lauderdale.
I haven’t posted any Katy Perry in a while and if you’re a follower of the blog, you know that I’m pretty much obsessed with her. So here’s this brand new video for her song “Thinking Of You.” She’s always been into vintage stuff, so its only right that she do a video inspired by the great World War II era. Check it out and also don’t forget that she will be in town in late April at Club Revolution.

Katy Perry will be hosting the MTV Europe Music Awards 2008 on November 6th. This is a promo pic from the show. As you may know, even though I’m a straight hip-hop head, I have an odd obsession with this girl. With that, here’s a tune from her album in stores now, “Hot And Cold”.

Fuck hip-hop artists. Katy Perry is my favorite artist right now. She’s hot. She says what she wants. And she probably has more street cred than most of the rappers out there today. Okay, maybe that’s a stretch but listen to this interview she did today with Elvis Duran and The Y Morning Zoo. She discusses her various uncomfortable topics and also discloses what the first thing she’s going to buy when she gets that first residual check from her record label. Oh, and she also does an acoustic performance on the spot of her latest single “Hot And Cold”. You may want to skip 3/4′s through the audio to listen to that. Holla

UPDATE 5:30PM: And click below to see a video of Katy Perry offering up her time to get her 32DD chest ”molded” for a breast cancer benefit. Supposably, her boyfriend Travis “Lucky Sumbitch” McCoy (from Gym Class Heroes fame) will decorate and paint it before it goes off for auction. “Can’t mess with the 32DD’s”

Recently, I read this small article on Katy Perry. Yes, The305 has an alternative side. We listen to and support Lil Wayne all day fah sho’ but sometimes we gotta show love to the Y-100 type of crowd. I made a post about here before, but thought I’d reiterate it in case any of ya’ll missed it. Katy is the truth. She’s the hottest blancita I’ve seen in a minute. She really does it for me, but regardless here’s the clip from Paper Magazine’s July Issue…

Lately, I’ve been getting frustrated with alot of the hip-hop that’s being put out. So I couldn’t help but to find myself exploring with other types of music. A couple weeks ago I think I heard Howard Stern talk about this song that’s causing controversy because its about girls kissing girls and lesbians are getting mad because they think it makes “lesbian-ism” seem like a social thing, err, like an experiment to have fun. Well, it turned out, Katy Perry was the artist Howard was talking about and since I heard the song “I Kissed A Girl”…I’ve been hooked. Its definitely not hip-hop. Its probably so far away from hip-hop that its not even funny. But you know, its different, its fun and as much as I might catch flack for it from my hip-hop heads – its really some good ole’ “I don’t give a fuck about you” kind of music – with a touch of lovery dovey shit here and there. Plus, it don’t hurt that she’s easy on the eyes.
You can check out Katy Perry and the rest of the Vans Warped Tour line-up when they pass into town July 12th at Bicentennial Park. And below is a sample of another controversial track called “You’re So Gay”
