I took these photos of Shanell, who is signed to Lil Wayne’s Young Money imprint a month or two back at Propmasters studio in Hialeah while she was on her break from filming a video shoot. Very impromptu and spontaneous. Check more of my recent work at www.davidrosario.com/blog

Pitbull “Maldito Alcohol” (BTS) – Hopefully the first of many of these that I do for The305.com. Here’s a video I put together of the behind-the-scenes and making of Pitbull’s video for “Maldito Alcohol”, which is one of the singles for his spanish album Armando, due out sometime in 2010. We started the day off in Studio 27 – located in Wynwood, and then we wrapped up the shoot over at Mia Lounge in Downtown Miami. Press Play and make sure you check out the always beautiful, 305 Honey, Sagia!!!And a big shout out to director of the video David Rousseau with CreativeSeen for allowing me on set. Thank you!

Shout outs to EDGE who was the engineer who recorded the vocals on this. And also the photo above was taken by me earlier this year in a shoot I did for Trina. I was doing a photoshoot with artist, Bizzle a couple days ago. And while we were trying to decide which car to use, while we’re trying to decide, he pulls out his 1987 Buick Grand National from the driveway and burned out with it. It was actually quite f*cking amazing. Cars aren’t built like this anymore. Peep the video footage above courtesy of Napps126.

I always wanted to make a post about this, but completely slipped and forgot to. But I I spotted this cool photo over at the New Times. Either way, over at Culture Kings, clothing/sneaker boutique in the Design District, their bathroom is very creatively decorated with an endless amount of stickers and magazine cutouts from floor to celing of that bathroom. And if you’ve ever been, you might’ve seen my “Female Scarface” tearsheet posted in there (pictured above). Too funny. But yeah, Culture Kings always got the fresh gear, check them out over at:

You may know him from 99 Jamz, or you may know him for being the Miami Heat’s official DJ. Or you may know him because he’s pretty much EVERYWHERE and represents Miami like no other. DJ Irie has been tapped to play DJ duties for Jamie Foxx’s upcoming Blame It Tour, which is conveniently stopping by South Florida at the BankAtlantic Center on August 29th. Purchase tickets for it by clicking here.

This was a photo of Pitbull I took back in June 2003, possibly before that. I can’t remember clearly. It was taken behind Fademasters Barbershop. More photos coming soon from this shoot next week when I ressurect that interview The305.Com did with him back then as well.

Photo I took of Kobe late last year at this Nike event I was invited to. I honestly almost forgot I took it. But yeah, I didn’t know at that point that they would end up winning the 2009 title.

I just finished posting the guide to MTV’s Miami Week coverage and you might’ve noticed a link to a feature they did on me as a photographer and as owner of The305.com. Its bascially a straight word-for-word account of what I do on the site and as a photographer. And I’m definitely appreciative that they reached out to make that happen. It really means a lot. Check out the feature, including the background of The305.com and 4 of my top favorite shoots….

Yesterday, we brought you the exclusive video recap of Sneakerpimps Miami 2009. Well as promised, here are some of the photos. There were Xbox stations, lots of female sneakerheads, lots of sneakers on exhibit and tons of vendors on the DunkXchange floor. And without needing to mention, there were performances and meet-and-greets by The Cool Kids and The Clipse. You also had a “keeping-it-real” moment when Dave Jeff and Clark Kent cleared up the Sneakergate controversy that has surrounded Big Boi during his the previous Sneakerpimps stop in Atlanta (google it).
But once again, shout outs to Sneakerpimps organization for letting us cover the event. Shouts out to Safe from Mi Gente Clothing, Alexis, Rick (Abstrak) and the rest of the Invazion family, Dave Jeff, Clark Kent, 004 Connect, Like Mike Clothing, Bird Club Clothing, Air Traffic Control, Last Rights Clothing family, the whole Shoe Gallery fam, Soles Inc, Plus Givens, FemaleSneakerFiend.Com and everybody else we saw out there. I took this photo about a year and a half ago at Soles, Inc on South Beach, located on 12th Street between Collins and Washington. The Heat lost to the Hawks in a dissappointing Game 7, but you know they had a great season and all we could do is hope for the best next season. I thought that I’d take this opportunity to celebrate the good things about the Heat and stay positive. I wanted to post this photo of Miami-native and the Miami Heat’s own Udonis Haslem…
I took the photo about a year and a half ago for an unreleased story from 305 Magazine. We took this at Miami High, the school that Udonis graduated from and also played high school basketball for. He’s a vital lifeline to the team and any where you see Udonis, its straight “305″. He represents Miami like no other.
So…even though this season ended up a bit prematurely to our expectations, we’ll stay hopeful that next year, we’ll end up on top. 2010 here we come!
Shout out to Trina. You can check her out on her newly-created Twitter account over at www.twitter.com/trinarockstarr. And if you follow my twitter, I mentioned I did a photoshoot with her a couple weeks back. Above is one of the photos from that shoot. More to come, soon enough.

This is a photo I took about a year and a half ago of model, Zuly at Culture Kings for a photoshoot inspired by recent Rock-N-Roll Hall Of Fame inductees, Run-DMC. its actually from an unreleased issue of 305 Magazine. My Ah-dee-duhs!!!!

The Florida Marlins’ Super Saturday concert series was in full effect last night with an all-star performance by Flo-Rida, Pitbull and DJ Laz. The day started off when the Poe Boy and DJ Laz entourages came out to the field to prepare and take part in the first pitch. DJ Laz threw the first official pitch and Flo-Rida followed right after. And from there, the Marlins took on the New York Mets. It would be a couple hours before the concert would begin since it was taking place after the game was over, so I got an exclusive chance to roll around with Pitbull (while he filmed some scenes for his Marlins video with CreativeSeen) in between the 3 hours or so that the game was set to go on for before the concert.
It was like the 3rd inning when we started Pit’s walk-through around the stadium. It started at Pitbull’s tour bus and basically made rounds around the entire stadium through the hallways and through the DJ stands and through the luxury skyboxes. Pitbull must have posed for like 100(+) photos with random fans that were approaching him through his walk around the stadium. We walked a whole lot and we definitely got a workout – but it was great to see how much love Pitbull has for his fans and vice versa. Mr. 305 was definitely in the building!
And while, the performances were energetic and full of Miami pride, the Marlins lost to the Mets with a final score of 8 (Mets) to 4 (Marlins). On a brighter note, word is that ticket sales did fairly well and broke a couple records. So maybe this won’t be the last time we see hip-hop during a Marlins game!!!
Check the photos of the event and some behind-the-scenes stuff below after the jump….

Friday, April 10th, 2009, Flo-Rida was shooting his video for his next single, “Sugar”, featuring the extremely talented and beautiful Wynter Gordon. They shot the video at a luxury hotel on South Beach. The day started out on the Hotel’s back pool courtyard/beach area and then proceeded to wrap up at a green-screen session, where we got to take a couple photos for your viewing pleasure of Flo-Rida himself, along with Ms. Wynter Gordon. Shouts out to Atlantic Records and the whole Poe boy staff, definitely looking forward to the final outcome of this video. BUY FLO-RIDA’S R.O.O.T.S. – IN STORES NOW!!!!

Some of you may know Kevin Rudolph as the singer/rocker signed to Cash Money Records. Others may know him as Kevin Rudolph, the Miami native…as I do. With that, I got word that Kevin was filming his video for the Kid Cudi assisted “Welcome To The World” down the block from my office in Downtown Miami in this abandoned complex that many local graff heads may know about as one of the last surviving penits. I’m literally writing this post while they’re still filming and on dinner break. The song is dope!!! And from what I saw so far, the video should not dissappoint.
Besides the crew still photographer, I believe I’m the only media photographer here…so yeah, I got these photos exclusively. So with that, let me describe the situation in a nutshell. Kevin is rocking Supras and killing it with the energy. Kid Cudi is nowhere to be found – so I guess his shots are going to be much later in the evening. Cash Money Records family is chillin’ in the cut watching the production. Slim (Cash Money co-founder) is rocking some dope Jordans. There are maddd ladies playing the sidelines waiting for their camera time. There’s an ill black Lamborghini just parked outside. And oh yeah, the whole block is shut down with so many police officers, you’d swear 50 Cent was near. Yet….all that, and its a fairly simple production.
That is all. Photos of Kevin Rudolph below. We’ll try and get some of Kid Cudi soon…

This is a photo I took about a year and a half ago of local latin artist, Persona. We wanted that Little Havana vibe, so we took it in front of a fruit vendor truck and he sat down on a milkcrate. This is another one of my favorite photos because I used nothing but natural lighting and the use of primary colors (Red, Blue, Yellow) really made the photo “pop” persay.
