Wow at the Khaled stan that’s in the video. Too funny. Shouts to Dre Films for sending…

Wanna know what South Florida concert goers were saying about the Jay-Z concert from this past Saturday. Well, we took to Twitter to see what people were saying.. Click below to read…

As we mentioned in a couple posts before this one today, its no secret that Jay-Z took over South Florida this past Saturday. The aftermath of his epic spring launch of the Blueprint III Tour was felt from Sunrise to back down here in the three-oh-five. Monumentally speaking, the Bank Atlantic Center was named the “Jay-Z Center” for the evening of February 20th. Something I’m sure Bank Atlantic grinded their teeth over I assume (lol) but nonetheless a great gesture to welcome in the greatest rapper alive (opinion) into town.
And courtesy of Adrian Ruhi with the Miami Herald, we have a couple photos, along with the set list of what Jay and Jeezy performed for the evening. Click below to see the set list and to see the photos.

He was….in Miami, bitch. Taken at during the South Florida stop of the Black Eyed Peas tour, which Luda is a part of. And it seems that Luda has stepped his game up and brought on an in-house video production squad/person. They’ve been filming Luda everywhere.

Here are some photos I took at the Moves Magazine Superbowl party that went down at the Gulfstream Race Track. Party was sponsored by Title Sports Drink. Above is Melanie Fiona posing with Vernon Davis (of the 49ers). And below, click to see photos of Lawrence Taylor, Ray Lewis, DJ Webstar, Melyssa Ford, and more. Oh and check out that Dolphins helmet signed by the players of the 1972 Dolphins perfect season team…

They’re in Miami BITCH! Or…maybe I should say “were”. The Supra team stopped by the all too famous M.I.A. Skateshop to march on the release of the Supra Skytop II by Chad Muska. Lots of people flooded the store and a couple photographers as well, including Supra’s own. Not only that but Chad Muska himself also made an appearance. Now personally, I’m not a fan of the sneaker. I definitely am more acquired to the look of the original Skytop. Shit, I have like 4 or 5 pairs of the originals in various colorways – these (pictured on the right) don’t appeal to me for some reason. Maybe I’m just being picky. Either way, view photos below courtesy of Skytop.

Taken at the Dolphins game yesterday against the Saints, which they unfortunately lost to. Even though the Dolphins took another loss, it was a good game.
Earlier in the week and the week prior, we were promoting the Last Rights Clothing sponsored Monday Night Football viewing party with the Dolphins Vs. Jets at Hotel Victor on South Beach. It took place Monday, October 12th 2009. The event was a success and there to capture it all was Dre with DreFilms.
There were tons of guests enjoying the elegance of Hotel Victor and the diligence of the Miami Dolphins during the eventual win against the Jets. Guest appearances included Billy Blue, Mickey Munday from Cocaine Cowboys, Big Chuck (President of Poe Boy), Jacory Harris, The Frank 151 team, Stephanie Ortiz, Mayday!, Murph, Jared Ryder, Jahrue (from ImFlashy.com), and many more. The party was put together and brought to you by Joe Cinnante and Farrington Thomas from Last Rights Inc. Video is directed and produced by Dre Films.

Didn’t get a chance to stay the whole night, but got a few photos of some of the attendees of the release party over at King Of Diamonds in North Miami. It was madness. Live From The 305 compilation is in stores and on online retailers right now. Pick it up today and support the Miami Music movement.

We caught Trina looking amazin’ this weekend at the Think Pink Rocks event in West Palm Beach, which also had other celebs like Akon, Rocsi of 106 & park, Melanie Fiona and others roll through. Think Pink Rocks was held to raise awareness of Breast Cancer Prevention and Treatment and to raise funds for research.

Fabolous was in town this past Friday for the Miami stop of his Reebok tour that we’ve been talking about for a couple weeks now. He stopped by Footlocker in the Dadeland Mall in the early afternoon for a couple autograph signings and then he proceeded to the luxurious Gansevoort South for a private concert for tons of adoring fans. The middle photo is at Footlocker Dadeland and the other two are at the Gansevoort. All five of his (Fabolous’) collaboration sneakers with Reebok are in stores now exclusively at Footlockers everywhere.
This past weekend Air Traffic Control hosted an art show with artwork courtesy of Big Doves, which I’m positive you’ve seen some of his work as he was actually the hand behind the “Suck My Kicks” logo that has been implanted on dozen of shirts and endless event flyers and such. I believe he also did AF1 king Mayor’s tag as well.
Well, Big Doves definitely invaded South Beach, and even though it was a rainy night, tons of people came out to show support for work, as well as pay respects to recently fallen Miami graffiti artist, Oil aka Oiler.
The event was sponsored by Mi Gente Clothing Belvedere IX, and Amp’d Energy Drink. Big Dove’s photos draped the walls of ATC and a couple canvases and a painted boombox served as the centerpieces for the event, along with a tribute canvas to Oil, which was paired with a special pair of Air Force 1’s that Oil designed before he passed away.
I want to send a big shout to Safe of Mi Gente Clothing and to ATC for me and letting me take photos of the event. And a big shout out to the other people I saw out there: Derick G, ADBC, Fresh Da Barber, Reg from Shoe Gallery and homie from SneakerMeStuid.

Karu & Y was blessed with the presence of the cast and crew of SiTV’s reality show Model Latina. The show debuted its second season Sunday August 2nd and all new episodes will air every Sunday at 10PM.
Well, to celebrate the new season of the show, SiTV partnered with local hotspot Karu & Y the evening before, to throw an extravagant affair with a couple of the girls featured in the new season, along with the panel of judges and a couple celebrity friends. The event was hosted by ModelLatina’s season one winner, Jessica Caban (pictured above), and a very beautifully pregnant Ellie Rodriguez (from Deco Drive).
We got the chance to follow the ladies around their hotel rooms at the Epic Hotel, as they prepared for their big night at Karu & Y – then we took a limo from the hotel that dropped off the entire cast in front of the red carpet at Karu & Y. Get introduced to five of Model Latina’s season two contestants, as well as see the rest of the photos from the event by clicking below…

SHOE GALLERY release recap of the FLOMs & Hideouts
Words and Photos by David Rosario (www.davidrosario.com)
Saturday July 18th, 2009 marked the Nike LIVESTRONG release date for the Hideout x Nike Air Footscape Wovens and the highly anticipated Futura x Nike Dunk Hi “FLOM” (For Love or Money). Both are two of the last scheduled releases in the LIVESTRONG series. And Miami-based Shoe Gallery was one of the few retailers in the world with the opportunity to bring this release to the public.
Dozens and dozens of people flocked into Downtown Miami on a Saturday morning for their chance to receive a pair of the highly famed FLOMs. It might have seemed like an ordinary sneaker release, but unbeknown to everybody waiting outside – Shoe Gallery celebrated the release by putting together a special surprise visit by Futura himself.
Futura, greeted the lucky recipients of the sneaker and stayed around until the very last pair was sold. He talked with customers, signed autographs and even did a special impromptu piece on a shoebox for a young lady who bought a pair of the FLOMs for her brother. Even when the release wrapped up, Futura made sure to go outside Shoe Gallery to thank everyone for supporting this project and walked around to shake hands and personally greet everyone who came out for the release.
This will definitely go down as one of the more special releases at Shoe Gallery. And with all proceeds going towards a great cause, each shoe that is part of the Livestrong series is even that much more special.

This past Thursday, Bravo celebrated the upcoming premiere of their new reality show entitled Miami Social by throwing a party at the Louis lounge at the Gansevoort on South Beach. Yesterday, we brought you the exclusive video recap of Sneakerpimps Miami 2009. Well as promised, here are some of the photos. There were Xbox stations, lots of female sneakerheads, lots of sneakers on exhibit and tons of vendors on the DunkXchange floor. And without needing to mention, there were performances and meet-and-greets by The Cool Kids and The Clipse. You also had a “keeping-it-real” moment when Dave Jeff and Clark Kent cleared up the Sneakergate controversy that has surrounded Big Boi during his the previous Sneakerpimps stop in Atlanta (google it).
But once again, shout outs to Sneakerpimps organization for letting us cover the event. Shouts out to Safe from Mi Gente Clothing, Alexis, Rick (Abstrak) and the rest of the Invazion family, Dave Jeff, Clark Kent, 004 Connect, Like Mike Clothing, Bird Club Clothing, Air Traffic Control, Last Rights Clothing family, the whole Shoe Gallery fam, Soles Inc, Plus Givens, FemaleSneakerFiend.Com and everybody else we saw out there. Mickey Munday, Danny (SG) and Michael Madd – Photography By DRO
This past Saturday was part of the internationally known Urban Beach Weekend that takes over Miami Beach every year during Memorial Day Weekend festivities. Well, on the other side of the bridge in an ever changing Downtown Miami landscape, Shoe Gallery took initiative to put on an in-store industry mixer of sorts entitled the Shoe Gallery Industry Hour. Its main purpose was to serve as a networking event for upcoming artists in the Miami area – as well as an outlet to have their music played in front of various industry insiders and celebrities like DJ Clark Kent (Producer for Jay-Z, Biggie, etc), Mickey Munday (of Cocaine Cowboys fame), Drop (Super Engineer), Michael Madd, Safe (Mi Gente Clothing), Vito, Ball Greezy and tons of other guests in attendance. The artists in attendance that had their music played included Fuze, Blaze, Kiluy, Nappy, Rem & O, Primo, and YD to name a few. All are talented individuals. Check the photos below…

On May 7, 2009, Katy Perry and Wyclef gathered at Miami Beach’s Jackie Gleason Theater (aka The Fillmore) for a free Grammy Celebration Concert, presented by T-Mobile Sidekick. The venue was packed with people of all age groups that came from all over South Florida to check out two of the biggest stars in pop music and hip-hop respectively. As the crowd waited, they were able to kill time by texting random messages to a T-Mobile supplied number and then see their messages broadcasted live on the two huge LCD monitors above the stage.
Wyclef appeared first for the night and performed all of his classics. It was actually cool to Wyclef jump off the stage and interact/perform from inside the crowd for a number of songs. He also got it going with a couple guitar tricks on stage such as playing behind his head and actually playing with his teeth, a talent he says you better have strong teeth for. Katy Perry soon followed minutes after Wyclef and immediately began singing her hits in-sync with a crowd that seamlessly sang along with her word-for-word. At one point she calmed the crowd down and prepared them for her next song which she indicated was dedicated for a very special and dear ex-boyfriend. Travis is who everybody thought she was refering to, but the mood errupted in laughter when the song turned out to be ”Ur So Gay”.
Overall, it was a great series of performances by Katy and Wyclef – all in the name of the Grammy’s and T-Mobile Sidekick. View photos of the performances below…

I got the chance to go to an all-white attire & invite-only party at Diddy’s Star Island Mansion for an article I was working on for The Source magazine. It was a farewell party for T.I., who as you know is getting ready to serve a “year” sentence in Arkansas – so while there, I took advantage and took a couple photos. Guests included, Tyrese, Bow Wow, MJG, Saigon, Big Kuntry, Young Dro, and of course, T.I. and Tiny. Lots of Nuvo and lots of ladies dressed in all-white bikinis. Click below to see the photos…shouts to Semp, Derick G. and Strictly Business Records.

South Beach was on fire last night. Club Mansion welcomed the release of Rick Ross’ third studio album, Deeper Than Rap. Tons of celebrities and Rick Ross supporters filled the club to let the Boss, Ricky Ross know that they support what he’s doing for hip-hop. Rick Ross blessed the audience with titles from his first two albums Trilla and Port Of Miami – as well as cuts from Deeper Than Rap, including “Magnificent”, “Usual Suspects” with Nas and a few others all the way until 430AM in the morning.
The Maybach Music family was definitely in the building with Magazeen, Duece Pound, Masspike Miles, Carol City Cartel, including their newest member, Young Breed – all showing support for Rick and the release of his newest album. Other guests included DJ Khaled, Ace Hood, Fabolous, Chad “OchoCinco” Johnson, Clinton Portis, Bryant Mckinney, Gorilla Zoe, The Runners, Bigga Rankin, DJ Irie and a host of others.
The night will definitely go down as one to be remembered. And it all led into today, April 21st, 2009 – the release of Deeper Than Rap, which is in stores now. Buy it here.
And if you want to see Rick Ross in person, today’s your chance, as he will be doing a live in-store at Brandsmart USA in Carol City at 6:30 PM. The address is 4320 NW 167 Street – Miami, FL 33054. For more info call 305-624-5400.

Aventura Mall probably never expected its Center Court to be filled quite like it was during Angela and Vanessa Simmons’ Miami stop of the Rock The Mall Tour for their fashion start-up, Pastry. The event was put together by South Florida based Island Beat Marketing, Inc. The event was a huge success and Aventura Mall was completely swarmed with fans of all kinds. Fans who came for Pastry. Fans who came for Angela and Vanessa. And fans that came to see the lovely and ever-so beautiful, Keri Hilson. Also in attendance was K. Foxx (who emceed the event), along with Trina (co-emcee), Shonie (Slip-N-Slide), Sophia Fresh (Nappy Boy Digital) and Tiffany Evans. Check out ALL the photos below taken exclusively by The305.com…

The Miami Tattoo Expo took Miami by surprise with an incredible line-up of skilled artists and guests. With adding collaborations with Power 96, this was the hottest place to be at this past weekend. And photographer, MJ (www.mjflix.com) had a chance to take a couple photos at the event. See them below.

Slip-N-Slide’s 15th Anniversary Party at the Hotel Victor in Miami Beach that went down last week. It was an invite-only party so if you were there, props to you for being in the right circle of friends. We hear that the body-painted ladies were one of the highlights. And New TImes mentioned something about baby tigers. Anyways, we didn’t get a chance to go, but we have a couple photos here for your viewing pleasure. Pitbull, DJ Laz, Trina, Keith Sweat, Plies, Shonie, Qwote, Kevin Lyles and even Tocarra made appearances. Yes, Tocarra from America’s Next Top Model. She’s the perfect woman in my opinion. Good lord.
Shout out to Ted for being a staple in Miami hip hop and bringing us so many classic Miami records….
