Art created by and inspired by the likeness of Red Bull cans. The exhibit runs in Miami from March 4 – 14, 2010 and will feature artists from around the country who created pieces inspired by Red Bull. The custom gallery was built on Ocean Drive near 9th Street. Open from Noon to 11PM daily until the 14th.

(BEAVERTON, Oregon) – Last night, Jordan Brand, a division of NIKE, Inc. unveiled its latest chapter of the “Become Legendary” national brand campaign, entitled “Nightmares Never Sleep” starring Team Jordan and All-Star athlete Dwyane Wade.
“Nightmares Never Sleep” headlines an integrated marketing campaign debuting the AIR JORDAN 2010 worn by Dwyane Wade in the ad. The television spot takes viewers to another world view of a basketball player’s “nightmares” when dealing with the unstoppable, All-Star Dwyane Wade on-court during an intense basketball game. Wade will be the first Team Jordan athlete to debut the AIR JORDAN 2010 on-court during this year’s All-Star weekend.
“We chose the ‘Nightmares Never Sleep’ spot to debut the AIR JORDAN 2010 and to show how unstoppable Dwyane Wade is as a basketball player,” said Sean Tresvant, Marketing Director for Jordan Brand. “The ad also continues the Brand’s celebration of the 25th anniversary of the AIR JORDAN basketball shoe.”
Created by W&K New York, “Nightmares Never Sleep” will air today on major networks including ESPN, TNT, ABC, and in cinemas nationwide. Print ads will also be featured in Antenna, RISE, Slam, XXL, Dime, Bounce and Sole Collector in upcoming January-March issues.
The integrated ad campaign will also be fully complemented with a digital presence, created by Blast Radius, for www.Jumpman23.com, as well as in-store retail marketing and consumer events throughout 2010.

Photo I took of Kobe late last year at this Nike event I was invited to. I honestly almost forgot I took it. But yeah, I didn’t know at that point that they would end up winning the 2009 title.
This is a photo I took about a year and a half ago of local latin artist, Persona. We wanted that Little Havana vibe, so we took it in front of a fruit vendor truck and he sat down on a milkcrate. This is another one of my favorite photos because I used nothing but natural lighting and the use of primary colors (Red, Blue, Yellow) really made the photo “pop” persay.

Chop Shop Barbershop, which is located in North Miami, has got to be one of the best, if not THE best, barbershop concepts ever created. And without further time to waste, they recently unveiled their “Chop Shop Mobile” truck that basically brings the same elements and things you love from the original Chop Shop storefront, and now…brings it to you and your events. A big up to Amir for always keeping it fresh!
I just got put on to this new fashion line coming out of Miami called Last Rights Clothing. I assume its been out for a while, but I just caught wind of it. Its very Miami influenced. Very edgy with a bit of sexy thrown in the equation as well. Above are a couple of the designs I liked. They also have a REALLY DOPE commercial that they shot, that actually made controversial headlines last year in June of 2008, where local Miami authorities thought that there was a drug drop-off from a low-flying plane in broad daylight over the waters in South Florida (click here for that story).

Heroes Season 3 “Villans” is addictive! Even if you haven’t followed Heroes you can still follow the story and after watching one episode of season 3 “Villans” your going to want to catch up before the next episode. “Villans” fills in the gaps that have kept you guessing since the first season. Like “How’s does Sylar take everyones power? By eating it?” If you have Netflix you can watch the new episode a day after it airs, if your a member. Either way make some space on your schedule to watch Heroes Season 3 Villans, Mondays @ 9pm.

In celebration of the highly successful Iron Man movie, I thought it’d be cool to put you on to a book written by the Toney Starks that a lot of us in the hip-hop world are more familiar with. The World According To Pretty Toney, adapted from the popular MTV commercial segments, was released last Winter, but received little attention and barely any press. It was published by MTV Press.
Ghostface definitelyisn’t a comedian, but he does bring up a couple do’s and don’ts that all of us should adhere to if we wanna make it through another day. And its broken down into a couple chapters that include:

I’m a little biased here because I did a photoshoot with these guys (pictured above), but check them out. P Dot & The Back Pack Clik. They have a hit single that’s gaining momentum on Power 96called “Friendz With Benefits”. They are definitely targeted for the high school crowd and for the females…but they got that “it-factor” going on for them.
