While they’re technically not inspired by the University Of Miami, they do kinda resemble the school’s color. Nike is releasing these murky orange and murky green (technically sequoia and ale brown) SB’s this Saturday online at 10AM and at SB retailers everywhere for $120 a pair. Below is the full story behind the release…
Inspired by Ithaca New York, this Nike SB x Homegrown Skateshop take on the timeless silhouette draws heavily on the area’s wooded terrain and natural beauty. We agreed the shoe should immediately look and feel like it was built to be at home in the outdoors. The rugged full pig suede upper, understated color blocking, hiker laces, and artwork by long time shop family member, Jesse Hill, all combine to convey the outdoor theme while maintaining a clean aesthetic that perfectly compliments the classic lines of the Dunk.
LAUNCH: SATURDAY, JANUARY 9, 2016 – 10:00 AM EST
