Here’s Video From Last Week Of A Miami Fashion Show With Clothing Made With Nothing But McDonald’s Paper Products…

Shot November 5, 2015 at the Setai on Miami Beach.

A South Florida McDonald’s franchisee recently challenged fashion students from Miami International University of Art and Design to create an original fashion collection designed entirely out of McDonald’s signature food packaging. From fry box frocks to coffee cup couture and ready-to-wear wrappers, the McDCouture was served up for the start of Funkshion Fashion Week Miami Beach.

The aspiring designers utilized more than 4,600 McDonald’s sandwich wrappers, 1,770 fry boxes, 1,100 straws, 600 to-go bags, 500 sandwich boxes, 200 soft drink cups, 500 ketchup holders, and 100 McFlurry cups to create their one-of-a-kind-designs, and after weeks of preparation, their McDCouture was runway ready.

Guests were encouraged to share photos on social media by using #McDCouture.

After the fashion show the pieces will be displayed at the Miami International University of Art and Design.
