305 Live is being curated and masterminded by Sara Corinne, the director of the event (and local publicist) with the help of a few partners and sponsors. The stage will feature a diverse representation of the Miami hip-hop community from the emerging artists to the established veterans.

And up next is on the interview side is Lil Champ FWAY. Read below to see what the FWAY God’s been up with lately…

So introduce yourselves and give me a quick summary of your life and career?
I’m born and raised in Miami, Florida. I grew up wanting to be a football star, I was good at it, but I always loved music. Some time around 11th grade in high school I started smoking weed and the football coach kept trying to make me lift weights. I hated lifting so I started doing music more often and after a while it became my life  and now I’m here.

And what neighborhood of Miami/South Florida do you represent?
I rep all of Miami but I’m from Carol City. Its the uptown part of Dade County. One of the most unique things about CC (Carol City) is that most of the rap and sports superstars native to Miami come from Carol City like Rick Ross , Flo-Rida, Santana Moss , Kenny Phillips, Dwayne Bowe and to name a few. Sun Life Stadium is in Carol City and we’re close to the suburbs but CC (Carol City) is hood so we get the best of both worlds.

What projects are you working on right now and what are you releasing in the near future?
I’m working on my album titled “FWAY SEASON” I have been working on that project for three years low key. I don’t have a release date for it yet. I also got over 100 unreleased songs. I/ma be releasing more new music and visuals soon.

With your live shows, what can people expect?
You’re not gonna know what to expect. I don’t even know what to expect. All I know is don’t blink cause this gonna be a live set. I might do the electric slide with VDoT and Harvey G – we just go crazy wit the dance moves .

You’ve worked with a lot of people locally and beyond, what would you say was the best project you were a part of or maybe had the best time recording?
When I recorded “Graveyard Shift” with Yung Simmie and Denzel Curry. It was so random. Simmie and myself were in the studio vibin’ to it. Next thing you know, Denzel Curry walks in and Denzel’s like what’s this? Simmie and I are like ‘nigga don’t worry bout it (lol).  Denzel says ‘Naw nigga I’m on this shit.’ Then we recorded it on the spot. We snapped on it and dropped it the next day. The fans went crazy and it got like 10k plays in 24hours. Simmie also mentioned the last part of the beat scared him. SpaceGhostPurrp had the record sounding like the dead was rising (lol), it was funny .

If you had to describe your style(s), how would you describe it to someone who hasn’t heard your music…basically, give me the sales pitch…
I have a random style, its no telling what type of song I’m gon create. Straight up its either you gon love me or hate me , it’s no in between . I’ma tell u this..FWAY Boyz and myself got the most swag this town has ever seen, Trend Setters!

So with 305 Live, how important is it to be part of this show?
This is very important. I haven’t felt like this since 5th grade playing optimist football for Ives Estates 85lb’s. Our optimist team went undefeated and played NW Broward in the Super Bowl. We actually won that game. Its so important cause a lot of people don’t know that Miami has a lot of talented individuals . This is our first time getting to display our music to the Hip Hop industry,  we’re gotta kill it .

What do you think would be the ultimate goal for 305 Live in ATL and going forward?
To showcase to these people how Miami is one of the hottest city’s musically and that we can have longevity and we are capably of unity .

Any last words?
