“In fact Austin Paul’s soulful croon and falsetto that brings to mind Prince in his infancy…” – Vice Noisey
“Miami’s smoothest neo-soul creation…The 20 year old is delving to depths difficult to explain, let alone croon as eloquently as he does….Plays with the same overabundance of cool he exudes.” – Okayplayer
“Paul may be competing in a jam-packed arena, but there’s plenty working in his favor: he’s young, talented, unafraid of growth, and uninterested in tedious, worldly distractions. Make room in your playlist now, even if you’ve got to bump someone else.” – Consequence of Sound
At a mere 21 years old, Miami native singer/songwriter/producer Austin Paul is set to release his first EP following his critically acclaimed trilogy (Velvet, Disparis, Revival). The new EP, The Garden, is set to be released October 7th. For the first time, Paul gives us an inside look into his lifestyle by releasing a video sharing his travels and people he’s worked with along the way.
Austin Paul is completely self-taught and first started playing the piano at 10 years old while raised in a strict Christian home . Although he has had the opportunity of working with our generation’s top producers, he has experienced much adversity. Through this personal growth, self realization and influence from the Garden of Eden, The Garden was born.He produced the EP along side fellow Miami producers, NURI and Nick Leon. Experimenting with analog equipment, Paul takes us on a seamless story with one continuous track.
Austin Paul was also influenced by a character who is from another dimension, AHZ. AHZ’s journey through the world of music, along with the amalgamation of cosmic interstellar spirit and numeric frequency, has inspired such a degree that he has created his own denomination. Through this track, he travels through the mind of humans via audio stimulation. The more aroused the mind is by the sound, the faster AHZ will travel.
Austin is acquiring an incredibly unique/star-studded team behind him with co-signs from Timbaland, Zedd, Scott Storch, Pharrell, Kastle, and N.E.R.D.
