From 1935 to 1957 there was a known hot spot called Ball & Chain in Little Havana that would see the likes of Billie Holiday and Nat King Cole. The venue became one of the places to be at for those 20 glorious years and now its making a comeback for 2014.
The newly resurrected Ball & Chain is a restaurant/bar/lounge and is a spot where locals will get a sense of going back in time and reliving the original Ball & Chain. But this time around it’ll have a hint of how Miami has evolved since then. The tapas menu features items such as chicharrones (pictured below), queso frito and much more. To accompany these eats, they’ve created an extensive drink menu which includes a Mojito Criollo and a Calle Ocho Old Fashioned.
The vibe of this place will certainly bring out your dancing alter ego. Look for not only the Jazz or Latin music of recent years, but also the music of past. Check below for more information.
