The future site of Lumus Park in the year 1912. You know, the whole area we typically call South Beach. And for the sakes of simplification, we’ll keep the location of this wonderful photo as 8th and Ocean Drive.

Notice the temporary track on the left side of the photo. That was used for transporting construction materials and trash easily along the beach.
