Those Islas Canarias croquetas we all love are now available in more than one restaurant in Miami…Finka Table & Tap. This “Finka” is not your typical ranch… instead of having chickens pigs and spider webs, they have their very own bar lab located in the back of the restaurant. There, specialty handcrafted cocktails are made with elixirs, syrups, and infusions made from herbs and spices from their gardens and fresh-pressed produce and exotic ingredients from around the world.
Enough about the drinks though. Let’s talk about the variety of fried rice offered at this hidden gem purposely located in the far west side of Miami in order to attract more locals. You can choose from Cuban, tofu, kimchee, or lomo saltado fried rice. If that’s making you feel some type of way, then you could only imagine what’s in the rest of the menu that is influenced by their Cuban roots and a mixture of Korean and Peruvian cuisines.
The beauty and brains behind this masterpiece restaurant is Eileen Andrade, who started her career off alongside her brother in a food truck named, Cubancube. The truck is still available for private events, but lucky for us, some items on the menu are available at Finka as well. For information visit Finka Table and Bar.
What are you waiting for? It’s definitely worth the drive.
