Artist Beatriz Milhazes is bringing Brazilian flare back into the art scene of Miami with her newest exhibition at the Perez Art Museum Miami.
This new exhibition, called Jardim Botanico, is showcasing Milhazes complex abstract vivid works of art with tropical color palettes that will make you feel like you are a part of Carnival itself.
Her work features a myriad of overlapping circles, flower blossoms, waves, and candy colored horizontal stripes all in very bright hues of pink, orange, blue, yellow, and purple.
The Jardim Botanico exhibition will be running at the PAMM from September 18- January 11, 2014. The exhibition will include more than 40 large scale paintings, collages and screen prints that will display pieces from the 25 years of her career. There will also be a few never before seen works of art at least by the American public, and also 3 pieces that were made specifically for the PAMM exhibition.
The Exhibition hours Thursday- Sunday from 10am-6pm and Thursdays from 10am-10pm. Admission is $12 for adults and $8 for kids 7-18 years, seniors, and students with valid student id card. All Children under 6 years of age will be able to attend for free.
