Game Of Bones….a competition to crown the Best BBQ Restaurant In Miami

Ribs Pork Brisket Sides

Digest Miami is putting together a pretty cool online voting contest called “GAME OF BONES”….(game of thrones get it?). It has about 16 barbeque restaurants listed for foodies all over Dade County to vote on which is the best. There’s even a little incentive to win a $75 gift card to your favorite restaurant of choice.

But at worst case, and the real reason I’m writing this, its a pretty good list of restaurants to definitely use next time you’re trying to catch some BBQ in Miami.

And a little background info on the competition. This is the second annual edition of the Game of Bones competition presented by Digest Miami. And the deadline to vote is July 31st. Last year’s defending champion Bulldog Barbeque & Burger is back on the list as well.

So click below to vote for your favorite…

Brother Jimmy’s has celebrated over 20 years of legendary North Carolina, slow-smokin’ barbeque. A lot of restaurants in South Florida do baby back ribs but Bulldog BBQ makes St. Louis style ribs, which is the favorite of barbecue aficionados. St. Louis style ribs are fattier, meatier and really hold the smoke well. Their process is also unique as they smoke over hardwood charcoal and this creates a competition style smoke-ring.
