Things seem to be moving towards Ashton Kutcher’s favor and are becoming much different than they were back in February when Ashton outed the city of Miami for its ancient way of thinking and their lack of resolve for services like Uber (and Lyft).
Well, earlier today the Miami-Dade County commission approved the moves to start making these services like Uber and Lyft legal in the county. They voted overwhelmingly in favor of officially legalizing the services and to begin discussions to change the law, despite the fact that they already are operational.
This is great news in the form of allowing innovation in transportation. We’re sure there are inevitable problems and potential legalities that come in question, but Uber and Lyft’s positives outweigh the negatives.
