David Beckham and group have seemingly given up on Miami-Dade County and the City Of Miami it seems for his planned MLS soccer stadium. Or atleast they’re in their last ounce of patience since they’ve pretty much just confirmed that they are set to discuss stadium options with the Broward County Commission. Though nothing is confirmed, Beckham and his group are at least willing to listen to their pitches.
Commissioner Stacy Ritter even through a lil’ jab to her neighbors in the 305 by saying: “Beckham’s group was very unhappy with the parcel that Miami-Dade wanted to provide…we’re easier to deal with than the county to the south.”
Though, Commissioner Ritter didn’t really offer anything much in her statements other than a plot of land near West Sunrise, which is far from waterfront property that Beckham & Co. are seeking.
David Beckham is still weighing options in Miami despite the recent dead-ends.
