Released about a week ago, Lana Del Rey’s Ultraviolence album came out on June 13, 2014. And a bonus track on the album is “Florida Kilos” (embed is located below) which is inspired by legendary Miami based doc, Cocaine Cowboys by Rakontur. Here’s what Lana said about the track’s inspiration:

“I was inspired by a documentary called Cocaine Cowboys speaking of traffickers in Miami in the 70s. I attract those who use illegal methods to get what they want. When I was a kid I thought I had the right to have whatever I wanted at any cost. I like the idea of getting to the top with your method, it is legal or illegal.”

We could get high in Miami,

Ooh, dance the night away.

People never die in Miami,

Ooh, that’s what they all say.
