A little late on this news due to the Memorial festivities, but better late than never right. So…
Even though you can keep it hood and sneak in your own booze, Miami Beach just approved measures last Wednesday backed by Mayor Philip Levine to allow South Beach movie theaters to sell alcohol to adults of age. Immediately benefitting is the Regal Cinemas South Beach Stadium 18 Movie Theater on Lincoln Road.
Specific requirements allow theaters with at least 300 permanent seats, 15,000 square feet in size and located in “Commercial High Intensity Districts.” This will also mean that the approved theaters would need to have a separate area where the alcohol would be sold and have a strong plan in place to prevent minors from purchasing.
