Spike Lee’s Mini Doc About Future NFL QB Teddy Bridgewater Of Miami Giving His Mother A Pink Escalade He Promised Her When He Was 9 Years Old

Damn, this is a phenomenal story. When Teddy Bridgewater (formerly of Miami Northwestern) was in the third grade at 9 years old, he promised his mother, Rose, he’d get her a Pink Cadillac Escalade when he became a professional football player. After a lot of tears and hard work (and a 4.0 GPA in high school), Teddy made good on his promise. Watch their story in a new documentary directed by Spike Lee.

Its an amazing story all the way through from his mother winning her battle with breast cancer and so many other adversities.Β Man, if you don’t cry or tear up a little bit while watching this (especially towards the end), you are not human bruh. This is the definition of a come up story that you can’t be mad at and it originated in our own backyard.

A big shout out to Cadillac and Spike Lee for making Teddy’s dream and his mother’s dream come true. And pink was the color of choice because of his mother’s win against breast cancer. This story was also featured recently on Good Morning America (who you can see was also present at the surprise portion of the video).
