RECIPE – Matcha Green Tea Shake by @ChrisBosh’s Chef, Terrence Williams

Last week when we went to meet Chris Bosh and his chef Terrance Williams at the American Airlines Arena courtesy of American Express’ “Off The Court” initiative, Chef Terrance put us on to his incredibly delicious Match Tea Shake.

A healthy and filling alternative to higher calorie milkshakes and sugar drinks. Its thick and has just the right amount of texture from almonds. And after being so impressed at the taste of it, we got the recipe in case you want to try it at home.

Shake Ingredients
1 tablespoon Matcha green tea powder
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract honey
1 cup almond milk
7 raw almonds
3 organic dates pitted
1 tablespoon organic light agave
1/2 cup water
1/4 teaspoon cvanilla infused sea salt

How To Make It:
1. In a high speed blender, pour in the dates, almonds and Match Tea Powder
2. Pour in the almond milk, water, agave, pure vanilla and vanilla infused sea salt
3. Blend all the ingredients until smooth
