At the end Ultra live stream last night, the dates for Ultra Music Festival 2015 were officially announced. March 27, 28 and 29. And while organizers seem confident that things will pull through, some fans are worried that the City of Miami might mean business this time around with its plans to try and ban the festival.
Miami Mayor Regalado and other leaders are using the trampling of the security guard as the main bullet point for the banning. Plus, add in 76 arrests (28 felony charges) and 118 hospitalized (1 death) and you have yourself a case open for dispute.
But again, we’re talking about $80-100 Million that would evaporate into thin air if Ultra is banned. And while officials prefer “safety and peace of mind” over money, we still find it hard to believe that that the financially-challenged City Of Miami would turn down one of the biggest attractions to the city.
Stay posted for more information as it comes in.
