After arguably exceeding most expectations with his “4sho” music video, Indigo offers a follow-up with the release of the visual for “Poppin’ Da Trunk”. In his latest line of work, the sound hasn’t drifted too far apart, and you can still connect the pieces of Fabrick (as a producer) from the present and the past (Indigo).
The effects found all throughout “Poppin’ Da Trunk” has enough thrills and frills to induce an epileptic seizure (as terrifying as that may actually sound). Perhaps the beauty of it all is found within the outro, which is supported by a beat switch and a feeling of ‘indifference’ that we can’t put our finger on. The scenes are all put together quite nicely, and it certainly looks like Fabrick is not that bad of a director/editor after all.
