1920’s Photos Of Elser’s Pier In Miami, Which No Longer Exists – (13 Photos)

Elser’s Pier was a pier and recreation center located on Bayfront Park directly at the end of Flagler Street. Unfortunately for us, it doesn’t exist anymore. What’s there now is Dexter’s Fountain.

The pier was an interesting structure that seemingly served as a rec area for residents of Miami and servicemen during World War I. It was torn down in the 1920’s when that area was dredged in to create what is now Bayfront Park.
