Well, its most definitely not good when a club goes on a “temporary hiatus” to renovate and etc. Bamboo Nightclub located on 550 Washington Ave is officially shut down for the time being. If you remember, Bamboo was our 2012 Nightclub Of The Year.
The South Beach club has held tons of events since opening a little more than a year ago and maintained a pretty decent momentum with their Sunday hip-hop party. They even hosted the Miami Heat after they won the championship in June of last year.
Here’s what Bamboo posted on their Instagram account:
“Thank You to all of those who partied with us at Bamboo Miami. We are currently under renovations, Sorry for any inconvenience. The Re-Opening will be insane… Stay tuned for more info.” – Bamboo Instagram
We got a chance to see Bamboo when it was under construction and it was and eventually did become one of the most beautiful clubs on the beach. So we’re sad that this is happening as again its NEVER a good sign for any club to “temporarily” close down.
Let’s see if they return for WMC and Miami Music Week, which is the next big week/weekend of events to capitalize on. If they don’t open by then, it might be a wrap for good at Bamboo.
