Jeff Ireland Steps Down As GM Of The Dolphins

After six season with the team, Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland is no longer with the organization. Citing a “mutual agreement” to part ways, Stephen Ross confirmed the news earlier this evening.

This makes two men down as Jeff joins Mike Sherman (Offensive Coordinator) who was let go earlier this week as well.

With an 8-8 record, a failure to win the last two games of the season to secure a wildcard spot in the playoffs, and the whole “bullying” scandal – something had to be done at the Dolphins organization to hopefully rebuild the team for next season and beyond.
