If you don’t know who Jorge Sedano is then you must not follow much of South Florida sports. Sedano, a 1999 FIU graduate has been making the rounds in the South Florida sports media world for nearly fifteen years. He had his memorable morning show on The Ticket, and he was one of the broadcast voices for the Miami Heat and the Sun Sports Miami Heat programming. He then eventually got a new PD position at 560AM and a new show to go along with it, which was his most recent South Florida radio position. In 2013, he made it to the big leagues with a full-time position directly with ESPN’s national radio network, much like his peer and fellow Miamian Dan LeBatard.
He’s still a Miami boy at heart with great presence on the microphone, but we gotta say that his current stint on ESPN with the Sedano & Stink show is probably where Jorge fits in best. He seems more natural and more at ease with a national platform and has also done fairly great filling in for Mike & Mike (this morning even) when the show is on vacation hiatuses.
So we’re sure 2014 will be a great year for Jorge, much like 2013 was. Keep reppin’ the 305 Jorge.
