For best pizza in Miami, the obvious choice here is Harry’s Pizzeria, which falls under the Michael Schwartz’s restaurant group, but that’s the obvious choice. Besides, they’ve been around for a while.
This year Stanzione 87 opened quietly in Brickell. The quaint pizza joint sits about 40 people and fits only seven pies in their imported oven, which they brought from Italy. Twenty-three year old Franco Stanzione also brings all his piazzolo’s (or pizza makers) from Naples. Why? To keep his secret. What’s that you ask? The crust – it’s crispy but soft enough to fold and eat. The liquid like middle of every pizza with oozing cheese is also pretty sweet. Get the margharita – it might be the typical choice, but it’s a Neapolitan classic.
Stanzione 87 is a well-kept secret, and we want it to stay that way. Well, except for The305.com readers reading this of course. Visit them asap!
