It’s not every day two mega EDM artists join forces for a one-time event. After a successful initial run last year, Derek Vincent and Lorin Ashton, better know as Pretty Lights and Bassnectar decided to bring Basslights back, and this time they brought their talents to Miami.
Derek Vincent played with his Pretty Lights band, and Bassnectar tricked the crowd into saying goodnight and going home to watch Netflix, only to drop 15 more minutes of beats, including Pink Elephants.
The fans of these artists are legitimate, and that only makes an event like this better. There’s a reason Bassnectar fans call themselves “bassheads,” and that’s because they flap their heads back and forth to the speed of the Bassnectar. We got so into it we almost chest pumped someone. That’s what you call a successful concert.
