Another catch-up post. Apparently, Opa-Locka is trying to extend their controversial 2007 “Baggy Pants” ordinance to women as well. Even though the law is taken as a joke really and the signs are pretty much open targets for graffiti, they keep pushing on with this issue to allow city officers to cite violators (men and female) with tickets. The fine is $500, or 25 hours of community service. And so far in 2013, 72 people have been ticketed.
