Fresh off a demoralizing loss to the rival Buffalo Bills this past Sunday, the Dolphins got in contact with the Baltimore Ravens and have acquired Offensive Tackle Bryant McKinnie via trade. Now 34 years old and in his 12th NFL season, he became expendable to the Ravens after they acquired Eugene Monroe from the Jaguars a few weeks back. McKinnie as most know, is a Miami native and one of the last remaining active players from the Hurricanes 2001 Championship team. Even at his age, with his own issues of commitment and effort, he seems to be an automatic improvement for the Miami Dolphins. Hopefully he can bring a spark to a woeful offensive line that has allowed QB Ryan Tannehill to be sacked an NFL leading 26 times going into Week 8.
