Cluck Miami took place on Friday September 27, 2013 at Studio 25 in Wynwood, which is Miami’s bubbling arts district. The event took about a dozen chefs to compete against each other to find who could make the BEST fried chicken based dish. With tons of champagne flowing, and all for the name of charity – the chefs all went head to head with attendees serving as the judges.
In this video we interview Giorgio Rapicavoli of Eating House (Coral Cables) and Jacob Anaya of OTC (Brickell). Giorgio had an interesting dish which consisted of Cold Fried Chicken topped with Frozen Hot Sauce (yum!)
The winner for the night though was Chef Adrianne Calvo from Vineyard Restaurant & Wine Bar (West Kendall / Hammocks area).
Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida’s Executive Director Soraya Rivera-Moya gave us the following statement about the night:
“Cluck Miami was a new, innovative event combining one of our most beloved dishes with the elegance of champagne. The turnout and support from the community was overwhelming and Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida is grateful to Cluck Miami organizers.”
