Jose Fernandez Season Ends With A Bang!

Jose Fernandez Pitcher Marlins "El Bebe"

The Miami Marlins have had an underwhelming season to say the least. With a current record of 54-91 ย they have no shot of making the playoffs. This of course is no surprise after the dismantling of the roster AGAINย last year.

Jose Fernandez however, has us focused on the future not the past or the present. The 21 year old rookie sensation, has been a the silver lining of this gloomy cloudy season. Fernandez or “El Bebe” as they call him is currently battling Yasiel Puig for the rookie of the year honor. Besides being the Marlins only All-Star, “El Bebe” has the second best E.R.A. in baseball behind last years Cy young winner Clayton Kershaw. Fernandez finished the season with a 12-6 record and 187 strikeouts on just 172 innings pitched.

On Wednesday, after hitting his first Home Run of the seasonย and having an altercation with Atlanta Braves players, the Marlins shut Fernandez down in order to prevent unnecessary injuries. Here is the video of the Home Run and of the altercation…
