18-year old Denzel Curry may have ended his previous Raider Klan-based legacy, but a new saga has unfolded right in front of our eyes with the release of his debut independent album, Nostalgic 64. Although the official download can only be obtained through a digital purchase, Curry gave us the option of streaming the album for free (in similar fashion to Doris, Trap Lord, etc). The album itself is 13-tracks deep, with a rather distinct set of producers that contain Nuri, POSHstronaut, Steven A. Clark, Ronny J, Freebase and much more.
Past singles in the Robb Bank$ & Yung Simmie-assisted “Threatz”, “N64″ and “Denny Cascade” all made the final cut for the album. The theatrical feel of N64 is kept intact through the the vibrant imagery Aquarius’Killa Curry paints to us of the streets and the shadowy underground that has us at awe from start to finish (with a sequel to “A Day In The Life Of Denzel Curry”). If these details haven’t won you over yet, than maybe the inclusion of some South Florida favorites and surprise guests (Lil Ugly Mane x Odd Future’s Mike G) will arouse your curiosity.
Nostalgic 64 is now available for digital purchase via Amazon & iTunes. Down below you’ll be able to locate the official album stream for N64.
