Angry Bird – Birdman Suspended For Pushing Hansbrough
We discussed it last night, but can’t say we didn’t see this coming. Chris Andersen, your beloved Birdman, is officially suspended for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Pacers. After looking at the footage, the NBA decided to lay the hammer on the Birdman for his scuffle with Tyler Hansbrough. His foul was also upgraded from a Flagrant One to a Flagrant Two and was docked a day’s pay for the incident.
Many in the sports world are not only criticizing Birdman’s actions, which let’s be real were uncalled for, because if he was going to go ahead with the aggression, that he should’ve at least picked a player with a bigger and more prominent role in the Pacer squad. Now, the Heat are without one of their most active and productive players for a crucial game against the Pacers.
Game Six goes down tomorrow night, Saturday June 1 at 8:30pm, broadcasting live from Indiana on TNT.
