California based Umami Burger is finally open on Miami Beach at 1080 Alton Road. This is the first Umami Burger on the east coast, with New York City locations to follow shortly. The chain has kinda gotten the stigma of being the “West Coast Shake Shack”, but that’s a term that might not be the best of descriptions. The main ingredients are made in-house for the most part and each location has a tailored menu to the neighborhood (ie. Miami’s Cubano Burger).
Umami Miami is open everyday from 11AM – 11PM. And till midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Get to ordering yourself some Umami next time you’re on South Beach, you won’t regret it.
About Umami: The ART of creating that perfect mouthful. It starts with the house-ground, hand-formed patty infused with the Umami Master Sauce. It builds with the carefully crafted combination of toppings resting on the lightly toasted and slightly sweet bun. It is amplified by the vibe of the room, the energy of the community and the fine-dining service with a California casual feel. Finally, it explodes with house-made sauces, paired with unique sides, accompaniments and the perfectly paired beverage. What is Umami Burger? Experience it yourself.. After one bite, you’ll accept No Substitutions.
