So, we are still following this season of SMIRNOFF”s Master Of The Mix which airs every Monday night at 12 Midnight. The show was filmed in Miami at Frequency slash Ice Palace Studios and it is most definitely a good look for Miami. We’ve also been following our guy, DJ Fly Guy, who’s the last local Miami DJ left in the competition.
Well, last night, they had the “Half & Half” themed episode, where the DJ’s were forced into groups by DJ Chris Karns (because he won the Miami challenge) to tag team on a five-minute EDM set. Chris paired DJ Fly Guy with DJ Dynamix and a night of pretty dope set collaborations took place.
While every team took their own turns for the good, Fly Guy and Dynamix definitely put the crowd on the forefront and gave an energetic set. And while the judges still had a few negative things to say about Fly Guy’s performance, Fly Guy made it through the challenge and survived another week. Unfortunately, DJ Brian Dawe and Tina T was the team that got eliminated from Week Six of Master Of The Mix.
Next week, the cast takes on a new challenge entitled “Invent or Get Sent”. Let’s see what that spells out for the cast and for the hometown representative DJ Fly Guy. Stay tuned to The305.com for more details or log on to the MOTM website for up-to-date videos and photos.
