MIAMI MUSIC: Denzel Curry – N64 (prod. Nuri x POSHstronaut)

For those unaware of the Coachella 2013 lineup, Raider Klan performed yesterday as a featured set to close out part one of the festival. Miami’s Denzel Curry was one of the Klan members involved with the performance. Curry has been buzzing with an appeal that has actually been with him long before with releases like Strictly 4 My R.v.i.d.x.r.zAlthough the sound has definitely been fine-tuned, it should not stun listeners to see how much success the young artist has been having as of lately. The visuals for Threatz was able to land Curry on MTV and on Worldstar, a feat few artists from South Florida have been able to accomplish in their career(s).

The anticipation for Curry’s upcoming album Nostalgic 64 is simply incredible, and it’s something South Florida has needed all along. Denzel Curry recruited Nuri & POSHstronaut (N/P) for the release of his third single/title track, N64. We recently revealed the (N/P) production duo that consists of Poshstronaut (of Metro Zu) and Nuri (of Pro Club) with the Unleashed single right over here. The N64 release takes a sentimental turn when Trayvon Martin is brought up after Curry’s first verse. For those who didn’t know, Travyon Martin used to attend Carol City Highschool. Thankfully, Denzel Curry did this track complete justice, for both his hometown in Carol City and in the loving memory of Trayvon Martin.
