Out of the 30 teams in MLB, the Miami Marlins are the 26th most valuable team. Forbes estimates that they are worth, $520 Million – which is an 11% increase since 2011, but still one of the least valuable teams in the league. However, the increase due to the opening of Marlins Park. And the fact that Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria bought the team for $158.5 million in 2002, we’re sure he’s still smiling right now. For perspective purposes, the Yankees came in at #1 with $2.3 billion and the Dodgers at #2 with $1.6 billion.
