Look what we found. We walked into consignment shop ATC Miami on South Beach and noticed these bad boys in the “top-tier” product case up for sale. While the shoe itself is arguably one of the most hated silhouettes of all time, the story behind them is pretty dope.
These are a game-worn Adidas Kobe II, tailor-made specifically for LeBron James back in his sophomore year of high school (2000/2001) at St. Vincent – St. Mary High School. Apparently, the whole team wore white versions of the sneaker, while Lebron was specially given these ninja-turtle green editions (lol) as an exclusive to match their uniforms. Also, these are a Size 14 for a young Lebron – he’s a Size 16 now.
Not sure who’s selling these, but it might be a personal friend of Lebron’s or maybe a person tied in with Adidas – we weren’t able to find out. But, this is some pretty throwback stuff here and would make a great purchase for any Lebron fan out there. Hit up ATC for pricing and availability. More photos below..
