BurgerFi is a concept restaurant that started in Ft. Lauderdale, and has expanded to Aventura for the only Miami-Dade location that is open at the moment.
We were graciously invited to BurgerFi Aventura for a nice sitdown lunch and tasting with owner Gino and it was a really great experience. The location itself is in a nice shopping center south of Miami Gardens drive and on Biscayne Blvd. And soon as you walk in, you get a nice outdoor sports bar kind of feel; mixed with the appeal of your local sitdown burger joint.
Main Course: The main draw is definitely the burgers and the fries – as they should be. And the only way to describe their burgers and fries – is that its a perfected version of Five Guys’ burger and fries. And pardon for the use of another establishment’s name for comparison purposes – but that’s the only way to give you the best idea. The burgers are all natural, non-processed, and lightly seasoned with the option of adding their secret sauce on top. And the fries, well, again, very natural tasting, and light seasoning – they’re great.
Other Items: As far as their other items, they’ve definitely done wonders with their Chicago styled hot dogs AND their Veggie Burger pretty much tastes like a really healthy red-meat burger – its absolutely delicious. And check their secret menu on their website.
Dessert: Now, for the best part. Their dessert selection (shakes and custards) are quite possibly the best in town. The proof is in their Red Velvet Concrete. I’m talking about Red Velvet Cake smothered in Vanilla Custard (similar to ice cream). It is quite possibly the best desert I’ve ever had. So much so that we went back the next day for seconds. All in all, a great experience at BurgerFi. Its a green eating establishment with taste and presentation on their forefront…and plus, free wi-fi.
