Miami’s very own Saheed and Numonics join forces to bring us a new collaborative album, entitled Not For Nothing. The project has 13 original tracks from two of South Florida’s most respected representatives. The “Movement” track featuring Wais P was first seen right here on the site. All of the production featured on Not For Nothing is handled by Numonics. Other guest appearances include J.NIC$, Math Hoffa, Soul Khan, Vanessa Renee, and Wrekonize.
Perhaps the most striking track was “Gaza Trip”, where Saheed relates a bit to his heritage. The brilliance of Numonics comes from the diversity in his sounds, especially when we get to a song like “Times Up”. Numonics is also the co-creator of The Rising concert series, as well as a representative of Last Rights Clothing.
