The last time downtown Miami’s Gesù Catholic Church got a facelift was in 1922. The structure built in 1896 has finally gotten its 21st Century renovation. Restoration of the aged bell tower, painting the facade with new colors, revitalizing the interiors and adding insignia with the emblem of the Society of Jesus were all a part of the new transformation.
