Twinkies aren’t going anywhere no time soon, despite bankruptcy reports. Some rich company will most likely buy the rights to keep producing them and problem solved.

However, in case you you would like to know what exactly is in a Twinkie and the ingredients that make them so indestructible, then you’re in luck.

Photographer Dwight Eschliman photographed just about each listed ingredient to create a Twinkie for a project called 37 Or So Ingredients.

Twinkie Ingredients Including: Enriched wheat flour, sugar, corn syrup, niacin, water, high fructose corn syrup, vegetable and/or animal shortening – containing one or more of partially hydrogenated soybean, cottonseed and canola oil, and beef fat, dextrose, whole eggs, modified corn starch, cellulose gum, whey, leavenings (sodium acid pyrophosphate, baking soda, monocalcium phosphate), salt, cornstarch, corn flour, corn syrup, solids, mono and diglycerides, soy lecithin, polysorbate 60, dextrin, calcium caseinate, sodium stearoyl lactylate, wheat gluten, calcium sulphate, natural and artificial flavors, caramel color, yellow No. 5, red #40.
