Jesus walked on water and now Alex Quinones, a student at FIU, can say he did the same thanks to shoes designed as part of a class project. The students had to make it across a 175-foot lake while wearing the aquatic shoes in order to get an A. Alex was the first to do so, gaining him the A, $500 and bragging rights. A total of 79 students competed. If Alex can also turn water to wine, he may become the most sought after kid in Miami.
