1960′s era Burger King in ~~Coral Gables, located where La Palma currently is at 116 Alhambra Circle Coral Gables, FL 33134~~ West Miami at 6091 SW 8th St, where a La Palma Restaurant currently resides. By the comments, they say this is the second ever Burger King, with the first being at NW 27th Avenue and 36 Street. Via Don Boyd / Larry Martin.

Im pretty sure the location is 60th Ave and 8th St. I used to go to this Burger King as a child. It is a Las Palmas restaurant now. The shopping center to the left used to have a Paint Fair, another old time Miami institution.

I have been looking for the original BK for a few years. Here’s the address I have: 3090 NW 36 Street, Miami, FL. According to the article I read, their truly first location was somewhere in downtown Miami.
