The Dolphins ONLY entertaining player took a huge hit to the knee yesterday. This leaves all us remaining dolfans even more upset about this season. As I was reading my football sources, the Palm Beach Post reports that the Dolphins are concerned Reggie Bush (knee) may have to miss a few games.
Reggie Bush took a helmet to the left knee at the end of the first half Sunday and never saw action again. It’s the same knee that he tore a PCL in during the 2007 season and sprained an MCL/tore the meniscus in back in 2008, yikes. This injury is “nothing season-ending,” but the Dolphins may want to hold Bush out through the their Week 7 bye. I see the UM product, Lamar Miller, carrying the load until then, and don’t be surprised if Miller steals the job. LM is extremely talented and if he stayed another season at the University of Miami I think he would’ve been an easy first rounder.
