Sakaya Kitchen is a must-try restaurant in Midtown Miami, with now, a new location in Downtown Miami. A Korean inspired comfort food all across the board, with a couple more mainstream items for you picky eaters.
What stands out about Sakaya Kitchen is that their entire menu is written with chalk on the HUGE entrance wall that you can see soon as you come in (pictured below). There are large and small bowls, buns, tons of sides and tons of dishes to satisfy a wide range of tastes. And the price is fairly moderate ($10-12 on the average per person), with a 5-10 minute wait time for the food, brought to you. Plus, if you really want buy a few dishes and share among a few people or a bigger group, the portions are HUGE – so that can be achieved with ease.
Below you can see a few selected dishes that you can try as we definitely recommend them, especially the Korean Fried Chicken Wings, the Spicy Tator Tots and one of the various cookies they keep in their cookie jars (can you say Red Velvet Cookie…wtf? And Sundays, you can catch their Korean Fried Chicken and Waffles Special for $12.99.
