CBS big wigs decided to cancel decade-old show CSI: Miami. Even though the ratings were slightly higher than its New York counterpart (which was not canceled), the show couldn’t be saved from the end-of-the-season choppin’ blocks.
The show starred David Caruso as Detective Horatio Caine, and launched back in 2002. The show has also been mocked by internet jokesters and beyond with the above meme that has seen itself take shape with thousands of punchline versions.
A statement from the network reads, “CSI: Miami leaves an amazing television legacy – a signature look and style, global popularity and as a key player in CBS’s rise to the top over the past decade… We thank all the producers… and its talented cast, led by David Caruso, for 10 outstanding seasons.”
