Say what? After losing to the Miami Heat and having an early dose of free time, Amar’e Stoudemire is now officially a Miami Hurricane. UM has confirmed that he has enrolled in summer classes for the general studies program.
On Monday, he tweeted, “Just enrolled at the University of Miami. Working on continuing my education.” This makes Stoudemire one of the first professional and widely known athletes to join the program after making it pro. Congrats to Amar’e for doing something positive.
