Understood this is your blog and apparently not intended for informing people with what it said, just how you take it. Whatev cool.

“I respect Fidel Castro. You know why? A lot of people have wanted to kill Fidel Castro for the last 60 years, but that (SOB) is still here.”

The media seems to likes to omit and add context while misinforming for ratings, it’s a shame you would do the same. I love Miami (lived here my whole life) and that’s the reason I frequent this site.

I know the political landscape and why it is the way it is. I know and understand the history of this city and neighboring countries to know why we are built to have such a mix of immigrants. I also know and understand how some people have such riches and have a great influence on the Miami-cubans.

It’s easy to spread the “hate Castro” mantra when the majority of these people don’t know or even care about the history of their supposed country of origin.

Not trying to stir up anything. No one will probably read this, but as a lone voice of reason in a sea of misinformed I thought I should fill in some blanks. People need to stop feeling what others tell them to feel.

Oh and that fake plot line idea would definitely be funny. Miami is a reality TV show without the cameras already.

Guillen is getting paid millions to decide wether to steal first base and when to change the pitcher. That’s it! He needs to stick to what he is good at and leave politics to the more well informed.

All the Cubans I know in South Florida hate Castro with a passion. He’s the whole reason why they fled the island.
